selection by providing information regarding rates, accessorial fees, and time-in-transit
data for small parcel, freight, and LTL shipments.
Due to differences and complexities between these shipping methods and rate structures,
such decisions may be difficult in the absence of a comprehensive view of available options and their
costs. ConnectShip™ Advisor provides this comprehensive view to help shippers make cost-effective carrier/service choices.
Key Features
ConnectShip™ Advisor rates both palletized shipments and individual packages.
It enables LTL and small parcel shipment
rate comparisons based on published or negotiated carrier rates and handling charges. Shippers can rate
shipments using UPS, UPS Supply Chain Solutions Air Freight, and LTL shipping services.
Additionally, ConnectShip™ Advisor generates reports
that can be used to analyze and compare freight charges for historical choices versus alternative services.
This data can be extracted for further analysis and reporting beyond the built-in reports.
