ConnectShip has changed the dates and location of the ConnectShip Technology Conference to give attendees better travel options.

ConnectShip, a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS and multi-carrier shipping software provider, will host its second technology conference at the Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. ICON, the ConnectShip Technology Conference, will begin at 4:30pm (PDT) on Monday, June 10, 2013 and run through noon on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. These dates have been changed from the previous dates of June 11 - 13, 2013 to accommodate Sunday travel and reduce time away from the office to three days instead of four.

"The 2011 technology conference in Tulsa, OK was a great success but the post-conference survey revealed that travel was somewhat difficult so we moved the conference to Las Vegas where there are many more options for inbound and outbound flights," said Kevin V. Cox, General Manager of iShip and ConnectShip. "The Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas can provide the meeting facilities we need to host the conference as well as multiple entertainment options for our guests. We also rescheduled the dates of the conference so that attendees would be able to enjoy the facility but not be out of the office for more than three business days. They can check in to the Red Rock on Sunday afternoon, June 9, attend the conference June 10, 11 and 12, and still return to their offices before the end of the week."

Conference Dates and Hours

ICON will begin Monday evening, June 10, 2013, with a Welcome Reception from 5:30pm-7:30pm. On Tuesday, June 11, there will be a full-day of business, technical and support sessions from 8:30am-4:00pm and a special evening event from 6 - 9pm. The conference concludes with a half-day program on Wednesday, June 12, from 9:00-11:00am. ICON, the ConnectShip Technology Conference will also feature an Exhibit Expo and key note speakers each morning following breakfast.
